User Interface Designer, PRAJA inc. 09/00 - 07/01
Oversaw the design process from conceptualization to finish for PRAJA's corporate
website, as well as custom web applications for clients such as General Motors,
Interchange, the University of Michigan Business School, the University of Chicago,
and Zurich Financial Services. Led the redesign of PRAJA's software application
"QuickView Producer", placing a greater emphasis on usability.
Design Contractor, Gateway. 06/01 - 07/01
Created the initial storyboard for the Gateway 2002 Olympic Sponsor site. Designed
the look and feel for Gateway's "Do More" application, which will be included
on all Gateway desktops. Produced interactive ads using Flash to be shown on
cnet.com as well as animated banners to showcase Gateway's latest promotions.
Freelance Designer. 03/00 - Current
Sole designer for a diverse range of projects including a Flash teaser site
dedicated to following a bicycle journey across America, character creation
and animation for an avatar based instant messenger, and a visual overhaul for
a website geared towards tourists and car fanatics attending the Temecula Rod
Run car show.
Multimedia Designer, California Space Institute. 01/99 - 04/00
Collaborated with Scripps Institution of Oceanography to develop an educational
website for introductory oceanography students. Created illustrations and interactive
quizzes, edited content, and scripted HTML.
Computing in the Arts Senior Thesis Project. 09/99 - 04/00
Researched gender preferences in computer games and produced a Shockwave game
called "Soda Shop", as well as a web site to document current concerns
and ideas regarding the girl's game movement.
Skills
· Competent in Windows (all versions), Macintosh, and Unix operating
systems.
· Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HomeSite, Flash,
Director, Sound Forge, Microsoft Word, FTP, and many other applications.
